Jose Mourinho Storms Out of Press Conference
Manchester manager Jose Mourinho has demanded respect in a tense press conference which saw the two time champions league winner walk out.
The hostile nature of the press conference came after his side lost 3-0 at home against Tottenham which marked Mourinho’s heaviest home defeat in his career.
Before storming out of the press conference due to the scrutinizing nature of the medias questions the Portuguese was quick to remind everybody of what he has achieved as a manager.
“Just to finish, do you know what was the result? This [holding three fingers up]. 3-0, 3-0. Do you know what this is? 3-0.
“Three for me and two for them two. So respect man, respect, respect, respect.”
Mourinho, who has won domestic titles in Portugal, Italy, Spain and England along with winning two Champions leagues and the Europa League with Manchester United last year clearly felt as if the nature of the questions in the press conference were too critical on his management.
“You want to make the miracle of my team played so well and strategically we were so, so, so, so, so, so good and you want to try and transform this press conference into let’s blame the guy.”
This is not the first time this season that the Manchester United manager has been apart of a tense press conference as just earlier this week Mourinho left the pre-match press conference after just four minutes and 19 seconds.
It is no doubt that Mourinho is under pressure with his sides two defeats from the opening three games making it the worse start from a United team since 1992-93.
